Foreign Aid
Concept of Foreign Aid
An introductory definition of Foreign Aid is provided here: Donations of money, goods, or services from one nation to another. Such donations can be made for a humanitarian, altruistic purpose, or to advance the national interests of the giving nation. While in total dollars the United States gives a large amount of foreign aid,as a percentage of U.S. gross domestic product U.S. foreign aid appears stingy compared with aid given by other industrialized nations.
