Overview

HeinOnline’s Law Journal Library is a legal online database. It contains more than 23 million pages of articles, comments, notes, book reviews, cases, decisions, and legislation.

The Law Journal Library contains legal periodicals covering more than 90 subject areas which are published in 29 different countries, as well as all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. The legal online database is is image-based, which means it provides exact page images as they originally appear in hardcopy. Therefore, all charts, graphs, photographs and footnotes appear
where they belong.

Legal history

HeinOnline’s Law Journal Library allows the user to browse and search historic journal
content, with articles dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries.

Tools

Hein’s ScholarCheck is a set of tools and tools of the Law Journal Library. Half of the archive contains current journal articles coupled with the historic content. This tool allow the reader to analyze the number of times articles are cited, and in return allow the user to view articles that have a heavy influence on the subject the reader is dealing or researching.
