In this context, Receipts of Royalties and Licence Fees means:

receipts by residents from nonresidents for the authorized use of intangible, nonproduced, nonfinancial assets and proprietary rights (such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, franchises and industrial processes) and for the use, through licensing agreements, of produced originals ofprototypes (such as films and manuscripts). Data are based on the balance of payments.
