Seabridge

Seabridge

Summary of Seabridge

A service offered by some ocean carriers whereby cargo moving between Europe and East Asia is taken by one vessel from the exporting country to a U.S. port for relay, from the same port, to destination. The goods move under a single through bill of lading. A seabridge movement is the effective equivalent of a Landbridge (read this and related legal terms for further details) movement except that the cargo moves entirely by water, without inland carriage across America.
