Patents Granted to Residents (in the Human Development Area)

In this context, Patents Granted to Residents means: refer to documents issued by a government office that describe an invention and create a legal situation in which the patented invention can normally be exploited (made, used, sold, imported) only by or with the authorization of the patentee. The protection of inventions is generally limited to 20 years from the filing date of the application for the grant of a patent.
