Items Of Trade
Summary of Items Of Trade
Goods or services that a nation buys or sells in the world markets. The items fall into three categories: commodities (goods, agricultural produce, or other tangibles), services (shipping insurance, etcetera), and credit (loans and other interest-earning transactions). Commodity transactions are regarded as visible items of trade, whereas service and credit transactions are known as invisible items.
