International Jute Organization in relation with International Trade

In the context of trade organizations, Christopher Mark (1993) provided the following definition of International Jute Organization: An international commodity organization (Sec. I) established in 1984 to administer the International Agreement on Jute and Jute Products. Exporting members are Bangladesh, China, India, Nepal, and Thailand. Importing members are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Egypt, the European Community , Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The Organization is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
