Intermediary in International Trade

Meaning of Intermediary, according to the Dictionary of International Trade (Global Negotiator): In international trade, an individual or firm that brings together buyers and sellers for a fee without taking part in actual sales transactions. Due to the sporadic nature of his/her work, at the end of it, the intermediary does not have the right to agreements of exclusivity or non-competition. See agent; sales representative.
