Summary of Highest Original Statutory Rate

A provision contained in General Headnote 10(d) of the Tariff Schedules that stipulates that in any case where two or more tariff classifications could be applied equally to an imported product, the classification having the highest original statutory rate (Column 2) shall be imposed, even though a lower concessional rate (Column 1) would be applied otherwise.
