Administrative Committee on Coordination
The Administrative Committee on
Coordi nation (ACC), formerly the Coordination Committee, was created by ECOSOC
Res. 13 (III) of 21 September 1946 , which established as its task 'to ensure the fullest
and most effective implementation of the agreements entered into between the United
Nations and the Specialized Agencies'. The ACC has now been renamed the Chief
Executives Board , with an expanded mandate and responsibility for the 27 organizations
in the U.N. system.[1]
