Promotion of Truth, Justice, Reparation in 2011
United States views on international law (based on the document “Digest of U.S. Practice in International Law”): On September 29, 2011, the United States joined consensus on a resolution at the Human Rights Council establishing the first-ever special rapporteur “on the promotion of truth, justice, reparation and guarantees of non-recurrence.” U.N.
