The Organization of American States (a list of Members of the Organization of American States is here) adopted the following international instruments regarding the Hemispheric Security:
- Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance (Rio Treaty)
- Protocol of Amendment to the Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance (Rio Treaty)
