Public Sector Negotiations
Literature Review on Price Negotiation: Public Sector Approach
In the Encyclopedia of Public Administration and Public Policy, [1] Rupert G. Rhodd offers the following summary about the topic of Price Negotiation: Public Sector Approach: With the increase in government spending, and with more pressure on the public sector to provide a wider range of goods and services, negotiating the best price for the highest quality of goods and services is of greatest importance. To facilitate this process, government procurement officials must be well trained in negotiation, business decision making, and economics and their departments must be adequately equipped with the latest technology to seek our suppliers. In the long run, a more informed procurement division will go far in maximizing society's benefits from public expenditure.
