Meaning of Trade Mission, according to the Dictionary of International Trade (Global Negotiator): A trade mission is composed of individuals and companies who are taken as a group to meet with prospective customers overseas. Missions visit specific individuals or places with no specific stage setting other than the appointments. Appointments are made with governments agencies, private clients, distributor, importers, agents, sales representatives, etc.
