Torquay Round and the GATT Policy Negotiations

In relation to the GATT Policy Negotiations, Christopher Mark (1993) provided the following explanation and/or definition of Torquay Round: The third GAIT Round of multilateral trade negotiations, held at Torquay, England, from September 1950 to Apri1195l. The Round dealt with institutional matters and the accession of new members, but did not make significant progress in reducing tariffs.
