Economic and Social Life in the CEDAW
Article 13: of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) stipulates, in relation to Economic and Social Life, that all countries are required to eliminate discrimi-nation in other areas of economic and social life. Article 13 highlights in particular the need to ensure equal rights to family benefits, bank loans, mortgages and other forms of credit, and participation in recreation and all aspects of cultural life.
