Semiconductor Agreement and the GATT Policy Negotiations

In relation to the GATT Policy Negotiations, Christopher Mark (1993) provided the following explanation and/or definition of Semiconductor Agreement: A bilateral agreement concluded in 1986 between the United States and Japan to open the Japanese market to US integrated circuits and semiconductor devices, and to deter the dumping of Japanese semiconductors in the US market.
