Literature Review on Science Policy: NSF and Research Ethics
In the Encyclopedia of Public Administration and Public Policy, [1] Linda L. Layne offers the following summary about the topic of Science Policy: NSF and Research Ethics: The federal regulations that shape the way research misconduct is defined and treated by the National Science Foundation are described. Alternative definitions of the problem are explored and NSF's new program aimed at proactively preventing misconduct by cultivating cultures of ethical science, math, engineering, and technology (STEM) teaching, learning, research, and practice is discussed.
