Researching Drivers Of Violent Extremism And Effective Interventions in 2016
The United States supports innovative regional, country-based, and thematic research on the drivers of radicalization and recruitment to violence and on programming approaches. The United States supports the Researching Solutions to Violent Extremism Network, which connects academics and researchers to study the dynamics of CVE in specific, local contexts and identify effective CVE interventions. At the same time, the United States works with the Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF) to implement an expanded toolkit for addressing the life cycle of radicalization to violence.
