Pure Consolidation
A “pure” consolidation does not change the law, but simply re-enacts the body of legislation in a more accessible form, bringing together law on the same topic that was previously contained in other legislation, and enabling redrafting and reorganisation of a specific legislation (like an Act) to make its content clearer.
