Preliminary Results in Election Law

Total or partial results released by the electoral administration. They cannot be considered final or official until all complaints and appeals have been resolved.

Preliminary Voter List in Election Law

A list of electors for which the data is gathered by enumerators or at registration centres, usually done on the basis of small geographic units prior to an election period. The preliminary voter's list is displayed for correction, addition and challenges before the final voter list is produced and displayed.
