Pre-carriage in International Trade

Meaning of Pre-carriage, according to the Dictionary of International Trade (Global Negotiator): Transportation from the place where a shipping originates to the departure point on the seller's side. Pre-carriage brings the goods to the main carrier, and is often called “inland freight on the seller's side”.
