Polling Station
Mobile Polling Station in Election Law
Polling station whose members move from one location to another on election day, as opposed to a permanent, static polling facility. Mobile polling stations are normally used to guarantee that all citizens can exercise their right to vote, even if they live in remote areas or in places where there are no buildings that can be used for this purpose. Mobile polling stations generally take the shape of a vehicle fitted with all the equipment required to vote.
