Meaning of Order Bill of Lading, according to the Dictionary of International Trade (Global Negotiator): A negotiable bill of lading, which is made out to, or to the order of, a particular person and can be transferred by endorsement and delivery of the bill. In practice, the bill is made out either to the shipper's order or to that of the consignee or to his order. See bill of lading.
