History of the Munich Agreement, 1938

The following commentary about Munich Agreement, 1938 in the Churchill Era is produced by the Churchill College (Cambridge): Agreement signed at a conference in Munich, Germany, between the major European powers in September 1938. Czechoslovakia was divided between Germany, Poland and Hungary, following Germany's claim to the German-speaking Sudetenland, close to its own border. Czechoslovakia was not invited to take part in the conference.
