Meaning of Logistics Platform, according to the Dictionary of International Trade (Global Negotiator): The space located strategically in the territory to act as complementary and central element with the different ways of transportation. These platforms are interspersed inside the network of intermodal traffic of merchandise and they have a mission to serve as a link among the different methods of transportation: railroad-highway, maritime-highway, air cargo-highway, and their possible combinations.
