In this context, Labour Force Participation means:

the percentage of the working-age population (ages 15 — 64) that actively engages in the labour market, by either working or actively looking for work..

Labour Force Participation Rate (in the Human Development Area)

In this context, Labour Force Participation Rate means:

_ measure of the proportion of a country's working-age population that engages actively in the labour market, either by working or actively looking for work. It is calculated by expressing the number of persons in the labour force as a percentage of the working-age population. The working-age population is the population above 15 years of age (as used in this Report).
