In the context of trade organizations, Christopher Mark (1993) provided the following definition of Japan Center for Economic Research (JCER): A nongovernmental economic forecasting organization funded primarily by Japanese corporations. JCER conducts some 200 conferences annually. in addition to publishing individual reports.
