International Sale of Goods

CISG in International Trade

Meaning of Cisg, according to the Dictionary of International Trade (Global Negotiator): The United Nations Convention on Contract for the International Sale of Goods. known as Vienna Convention, is a 1980 international treaty signed by most leading trading nations that amounts to a virtual commercial code for international sale of goods transactions, but exclude contracts for services.
