Meaning of Intended, according to the Dictionary of International Trade (Global Negotiator): A reference which may appear on marine bills of lading, non-negotiable sea waybills and multimodal transport documents where the carrier reserves the right to change the port of loading, the ship or the port of discharge. Examples: “intended port of shipment Rotterdam”; “intended container vessel CGM Marco Polo”; “intended port of discharge Veracruz”.
