Population Below Income Poverty Line (in the Human Development Area)
In this context, Population Below Income Poverty Line means:
percentage of the population living below the specified poverty line (PPP $1.25 a day and the national poverty line). The national poverty line is the poverty line deemed appropriate for a country by its authorities. National estimates are based on population-weighted subgroup estimates from household surveys.
