G-77 (Group of Seventy Seven) in International Law

Meaning of G-77 Group of Seventy Seven, according to the Dictionary of International Trade (Global Negotiator): A grouping of developing countries founded in 1964. This numerical designation persists, although membership has increased to more than 130 countries. The G-77 functions as a caucus for the developing countries on economic matters in many forums including the United Nations.
