Fiscal Policy (in the Human Development Area)

In this context, Fiscal Policy means: budget policy, or actions aimed at legislative and institutional guarantee of forming and executing the state budget. It defines sources of budget intakes as well as its expenditures. It is through the level and pattern of budgetary surpluses and their means of financing that government can control the level of demand in a country, and accordingly impact the rate of economic growth.
