Meaning of Export License, according to the Dictionary of International Trade (Global Negotiator): A government document granting the licensee the right to export a specific quantity of a commodity to a specified country. This license may be require in a few countries (mainly developing countries) for most of all exports and in other countries only under special circumstances.
