In any case, leaders and other educators should be aware of the more important aspects of technology-related copyright laws and regulations. this topic provides an overview of copyright law and fair use for educational research purposes. It explains different options for intellectual production and sharing, and notes administrative actions to support copyright compliance.[1]

Effectiveness of Teacher Training in Using Latest Technologies: a Study, the Law and other Social Sciences

In the world of digital technology, English language teachers now equip themselves with the knowledge of using the latest gadgets in their classroom. In order to achieve this objective, they attend conferences, teacher training programs and learn about the new trends. It must be admitted that lot of research has been done in integrating technology with language teaching and that has paved the way for them to facilitate the teaching and learning process. In a workshop conducted recently in a deemed university, a hands-on training on the optimal usage of mobile phones was offered to language teachers, who represented south western states of India. It is worthwhile to state that the participants' feedback relating to the creation of a mobile app reflected the effectiveness of the training given. In this chapter, the author would elaborately discuss the opportunities provided to participants and the challenges encountered, which offered scope for further learning.[1]
