East- West Trade and the GATT Policy Negotiations

In relation to the GATT Policy Negotiations, Christopher Mark (1993) provided the following explanation and/or definition of East- West Trade: In the parlance of the 1970s and 1980s, trade between the former East Bloc countries (“the East”) and industrial and developing countries outside the East Bloc (“the West”).
