Domestic Law
Legal Issues
Domestic Law as a source of International Commercial Law
Domestic law, in the context of export and import control and foreign investment, is an important and difficult source of international commercial law. The difficulty arises from the fact that validity and enforcement of a domestic law involve constitutional and sovereignty issues. In addition, the possible inconsistency between the domestic law and the international obligations of the country also arises from time to time.(1)
