Disciplines and the GATT Policy Negotiations
In relation to the GATT Policy Negotiations, Christopher Mark (1993) provided the following explanation and/or definition of Disciplines: In GATT parlance, refers to members' substantive obligations undertaken by members to refrain from discriminatory trade practices. Generally refers to the key principles upon: which GATT rules are based, notably non-discrimination, national treatment, and transparency.
