In this context, Development means: as a social-economic category, along with income and production growth, is the process of reorganization and reorientation of the whole economic and social systems, of qualitative changes in institutional, social and administrative structures, as well as in social conscience, traditions and stereotypes.

Mdgs (millennium Development Goals) (in the Human Development Area)

In this context, Mdgs (millennium Development Goals) means:

the MDGs set specific targets for countries to do more to address poverty, widespread hunger, gender inequality, environmental deterioration, and the lack of education, health care and clean water. The MDGs and their associated targets emanate from the Millennium Declaration, signed by 189 countries in September 2000.
