Consequential Amendment

A Consequential amendment is, in some countries, an amendment to an enactment that is required merely as a consequence of a substantive provision. Consequential amendments
are needed to ensure that the whole of the body of law ( Statute Book ) is consistent with the
substantive changes proposed.
