Computed Value and the GATT Policy Negotiations

In relation to the GATT Policy Negotiations, Christopher Mark (1993) provided the following explanation and/or definition of Computed Value: (Not to be confused with constructed value.) An alternative method permitted by the Customs Valuation Code for establishing the value of imported merchandise for customs purposes when neither the transaction value nor the deductive value can be determined.
