Clean Collection in International Trade
Meaning of Clean Collection, according to the Dictionary of International Trade (Global Negotiator): A letter of instructions to a presenting bank accompanied by a draft and often invoices, but not accompanied by any document restricting possession or ownership of the relevant goods. This is the opposite ofo documentary collection.
A letter of instructions accompanied by a cheque drawn on a bank located outside the clearing range of the payee's country's banking system.
