Bangkok Agreement Outline

The agreement was signed in 1975 by India, Korea, Laos, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand. Bangladesh joined the agreement later. The agreement was intended to reduce tariffs among the members. India, Korea, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh ultimately ratified the agreement, which entered into force in 1976.(1)
