Dynamic Asian Economies (DAEs) and the GATT Policy Negotiations
In relation to the GATT Policy Negotiations, Christopher Mark (1993) provided the following explanation and/or definition of Dynamic Asian Economies (DAEs): In recent OECD discussions and publications, this term has been used to refer to Hong Kong, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. As such, the term is broader than and may eventually supersede NIEs.
