Definition of Amnesty International

Within the context of international organizations, the following is a brief meaning of amnesty international: It’s a Non-profit NGO founded in July 1961 by Peter Benenson in the United Kingdom. Its Global International Secretariat is in London, United Kingdom. Its objective is to conduct research and generate action to prevent and end grave abuses of human rights, and to demand justice for those whose rights have been violated.
