Definition of Agenda in International Trade

The following is a concept of Agenda in the context of international trade law, from the Dictionary of International Trade (Global Negotiator): The list of topics to be covered during a negotiation session. An agenda may be arranged in either ascending or descending order of importance. The side that exerts the greatest control of the agenda will be the most effective in attaining their goals. Negotiation session strategy will be based on the agreed upon agenda. See negotiations.
