Reply Time

Summary of Reply Time

A specified period of time during which an offer to charter a vessel remains valid. If the offering principal receives a clean acceptance (read this and related legal terms for further details) from his counterpart within the prescribed time period, the party making the offer agrees to be bound to the charter; if a clean acceptance is not received in tíme, the offer expires.
